BRANFORD — After a covid-19 cancellation a week ago, it hasn’t been exactly been business as usual for the Branford Buccaneers this week. Still, the Bucs will be back in action as they host Joshua Christian Academy at 7 p.m. at Cleve Sikes Field at Buccaneer Stadium for homecoming festivities.

Aaron Morse took first place at the Tiger Run at Alligator Lake on Thursday with a time of 18:10.70 to lead the Tigers to a first-place finish, while Audrey Fender won the girls race with a time of 21:39.17 to help the Lady Tigers finish third. Behind Morse for the CHS boys were A.J.

FORT WHITE — It’s been a long time since Fort White began the season 0-3. It hasn’t happened since 2007 when the Indians lost their first four games in Demetric Jackson’s first year as head coach. Turning 2020 around won’t be easy with so much inexperience on the roster.
