PREP SWIMMING: Columbia qualifies three individuals, two relay teams for regionals

The Florida High School Athletic Association released the regional qualifiers for Region 1-3A on Friday and three individuals from Columbia along with two relay teams are moving on. For the girls, Mackenzie Conklin is the ninth seed in the 500 freestyle (5:26.

Columbia has played a tough opponent every week this season. Tonight won’t be any different. The Tigers hit the road and head west to face Wakulla, which is 4-1 on the season and coming off of a 21-0 loss to Suwannee last week.

BRANFORD — For the first time in a few weeks, the Branford Buccaneers are getting back to normal. After the Bucs had to cancel their Oct. 9 game against Hilliard when a covid-19 case at the school led to a number of players being sent into quarantine, Branford played last week.
