Lafayette sheriff’s race has biggest coffers

MAYO — The race to be the top law enforcement officer in Lafayette County is also the most expensive. Brian Lamb, Lafayette County’s sheriff the past 16 years, has received $1,150 in contributions toward his re-election campaign, the top fundraiser so far in the county.

Live Oak woman charged after workplace disturbance

FALMOUTH – A Live Oak woman faces charges after getting unruly at work Friday. According to a Suwannee County Sheriff’s Office report, 19-year-old Trinity Sanjuan had reportedly been throwing chairs at the Pilgrim’s Pride plant in western Suwannee County and battered a fellow employee.
