LAKE BUENA VISTA — An unprecedented NBA walkout over racial injustice postponed a second day of the playoffs Thursday, although players pledged to finish the postseason even as they wrestled with their emotions about wanting to bring change in their communities.

NBA: Playoff games called off amid player protest

LAKE BUENA VISTA — Making their strongest statement yet in the fight against racial injustice, players from six NBA teams decided not to play postseason games on Wednesday in a boycott that quickly reverberated across other professional leagues.

NFL: Lab blames 77 false covid-19 positives on contamination

The lab used by the NFL for covid-19 tests said Monday that an isolated contamination caused 77 “most likely false positive results.” In a statement, BioReference Laboratories said the test results on Saturday were contaminated during preparation at its lab in New Jersey.
