GAINESVILLE — Florida’s increased speed has come with increased sloppiness. The Gators are on pace to finish with the program’s worst assist-to-turnover ratio in more than two decades, an unintended consequence of playing fast and trying to create easy baskets in transition.

After five days in the hospital battling covid-19, Columbia football coach Brian Allen is home and recovering. Allen told the Lake City Reporter on Wednesday that he’s feeling better after he went into the hospital due to shortness of breath, one of just a few symptoms he experienced.
