BOYS SOCCER: Tate squeaks past Columbia in penalty kicks to advance in Region 1-6A playoffs

CANTONMENT — Tate applied pressure over the course of 100 minutes but Columbia never caved. Scoreless through regulation and overtime, Wednesday night’s Region 1-6A quarterfinal was settled in penalty kicks.

BOYS BASKETBALL: Columbia’s journey back to Lakeland begins at Tate

Tate won just three games during the regular season. That number doubled in the District 1-6A tournament. Don’t dare underestimate the Aggies. Three teams just did and Columbia doesn’t plan on making the same mistake.

BOYS SOCCER: Columbia goes for first playoff win since 2001 at Tate

Columbia missed a shot at history with its loss to Lincoln in the District 2-6A championship. But the Tigers can still accomplish a program feat that hasn’t been done in 20 years. That’s win a playoff game. They get their shot tonight.
