NFL: Meyer defends hiring ex-Iowa coach accused off racism

Jacksonville Jaguars coach Urban Meyer formally announced his 30-person staff Thursday, wrapping up nearly a month of work to surround himself with assistants who can help him make a successful transition from college to the NFL.

Suwannee defeated Columbia 47-30 to win the Battle for the Paddle in Lake City Wednesday night. Timothy Jolicoeur (126), Brody Boehm (132), Tyson Musgrove (138), Dustin Wood (182) and Blaine Howard (195) all had victories for the Bulldogs, who also won two more weight classes via forfeit.

COLLEGE FOOTBALL: Florida, Notre Dame schedule home-and-home series in '31-32

GAINESVILLE — Florida and Notre Dame have scheduled a home-and-home series for the 2031 and 2032 football seasons. The Gators will face the Fighting Irish in South Bend, Indiana, on Nov. 15, 2031. Notre Dame will travel to Gainesville early the following year.
