PREP ROUNDUP: Columbia tops Buchholz in boys golf

Columbia’s boys golf team topped Buchholz 153-174 on Tuesday at Ironwood Golf Course. Ty Folsom led the Tigers with a 37, while Spencer McCranie and Zach Shaw both tallied a 38. Connor Williams finished with a 40 to round out the scoring for Columbia.

PREP CROSS COUNTRY: Tough trekking for area teams at Alligator Lake Invite

Columbia competed in the 13th Annual Alligator Lake Alligator Run on Saturday and produced mixed results. With several girls sidelined, the Lady Tigers were unable to score as a team, while the boys placed last out of 17 teams. Abigail Candler led Columbia’s girls with a 39th-place finish (22:54.
