FORT WHITE — Ken Snider was willing to sell out to stop Branford’s potent rushing attack last week. The Indians’ co-head coach/defensive coordinator gambled that with Bucs quarterback Kyson Johnson nursing an ankle injury, the opposing offense would turn to star running back Bodhi White.

LEXINGTON, Ky. — Kentucky's prospects of winning its biggest game in several years likely depends on its ability to protect the ball better than it has all season. The Wildcats (4-0, 2-0 Southeastern Conference) are tied for last in FBS with 11 turnovers and next to last in margin at minus-9.

PREP FOOTBALL: Columbia holds steady in RPI, Fort White makes big jump

The latest FHSAA RPI rankings were released on Wednesday and, despite Friday’s loss to Trinity Christian, Columbia held firm at No. 4 in Region 1-6A. The Tigers (3-2, 1-0) are also still second in District 3-6A behind Riverside despite their RPI dropping from .656 to .632.
