Roundabout work is underway

Work has begun on installing the roundabout on U.S. Highway 41 north of Lake City.

Harassment complaint withdrawn by officer

A harassment complaint accusing the city’s former interim manager of creating a hostile work environment has been rescinded. During Wednesday’s special called Lake City Council meeting, Lake City Police Officer Greg Burnsed told city officials he has withdrawn the complaint.

Fields resigns as interim city manager

The City of Lake City is looking once more for a city manager, even on an interim basis. After a tumultuous 12-week period, Interim City Manger Ami Fields tendered her resignation to city officials Tuesday afternoon.

Legacy offering antibody treatment

Tired of people dying, full hospitals and long, long transport trips, Mike Minton decided to do something about it. Minton with Legacy of North Florida started researching the monoclonal antibody therapy for covid-19 patients and how successful the treatment was.

Jamboree event canceled amid concerns at Memorial Stadium
