Shooting near park kills one

A Lake City man was killed Friday afternoon after being shot near Young’s Park. Lake City police officers responded to the incident alongside NW Madison Street at 3:36 p.m. An officer was already in the area, as was a Florida Highway Patrol trooper.

‘We will never forget’: City hosts annual 9/11 memorial service Thursday.
