County OKs sewer deal with Ft. White

A wastewater system for Fort White took a step forward Tuesday night. The Columbia County Board of County Commissioners unanimously agreed to a proposed interlock agreement with the Town of Fort White to develop a wastewater utility there at its meeting Tuesday.

Mistletoe Magic returns to Gallery

The Gateway Art Gallery is making preparations for a festive holiday season with its second Mistletoe Magic craft market. The event will take place Nov. 26-27 with an open house ceremony, featuring a sales event with refreshments and a raffle at the art gallery, 168 N. Marion Avenue.

Founder’s Day offers learning opportunities

The families were always going to be a big draw at the inaugural Founder’s Day festival in downtown Lake City. The Markhams, Witts and Dicks were front and center at Wilson Park Saturday morning and garnered plenty of attention.
