With its playoff hopes hanging in the balance, Columbia was in desperate need of a win amid a 4-game skid. The Tigers used that desperation to put together their best performance of the season Friday night.

BRANFORD — The weekend for Branford is looking murkier than Hurricane Milton’s path. As of Tuesday evening, head coach Tim Clark said he was still in contact with Stanton Prep athletic director Chris Crider, looking for solutions to this Friday’s scheduled game.

With Hurricane Milton barreling toward Florida, Columbia is in standby mode. The Tigers’ District 3-4A contest against Ridgeview set for this Friday at Tiger Stadium is currently on as scheduled, but that’s dependent on how much damage Milton causes in Columbia and Clay counties.
