COLLEGE BASKETBALL: Florida rallies to top Army in season opener

UNCASVILLE, Conn. — Tre Mann scored a career-high 19 points, including five free throws in the final minute, and added six rebounds, four assists and five steals, to help Florida open its season with a 76-69 victory over Army on Wednesday.

NFL: Jaguars sticking with Glennon even though Minshew is healthy

JACKSONVILLE — Quarterback Mike Glennon is getting another start for the Jacksonville Jaguars even though Gardner Minshew is fully healthy. Coach Doug Marrone said Wednesday he’s sticking with Glennon at Minnesota (5-6) on Sunday.

COMMENTARY: From 0-5 to regional final, Tigers prove they’re a special group

Pinch me because I don’t believe it. Columbia is back in the regional finals for the first time since 2015. In most seasons, I wouldn’t be surprised, but this year isn’t like most. This year, the Tigers started 0-5. I wasn’t even sure they’d win a game before the playoffs.
