Columbia rebounded from Monday's loss to top Gaither 48-44 in the consolation bracket at the Battle at The Villages on Tuesday. Charleston Ponds led the way for the Tigers (3-3) with 17 points and Marcus Peterson added 15 more against the Cowboys (3-5).

GAINESVILLE — No. 10 Florida will be without its top four pass catchers in the Cotton Bowl against eighth-ranked Oklahoma. Receivers Trevon Grimes and Kadarius Toney announced Monday they are skipping the game in Arlington, Texas, to prepare for their NFL futures.
