COLLEGE BASKETBALL: Florida pauses activities because of positive tests, won't play week’s scheduled games

Florida's basketball team has paused activities for at least a week because of positive covid-19 tests and contact tracing protocols. The Gators will not play this week’s scheduled games against UMass Lowell and No. 4 Virginia in a tournament at the Mohegan Sun resort in Connecticut.

COLLEGE FOOTBALL: Florida overcomes slow start to beat Vandy

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Florida quarterback Kyle Trask is all about winning — and not so much about awards and records.  Trask passed for 383 yards and three touchdowns, and No. 6 Florida rallied from an early deficit to beat Vanderbilt 38-17 on Saturday.

COLLEGE FOOTBALL: No. 4 Clemson at Florida State postponed hours before start

The game between No. 4 Clemson and Florida State was postponed hours before kickoff Saturday when medical personnel from both schools could not agree it was safe to play.

PREP FOOTBALL: Columbia eliminates Seabreeze in Region 1-6A quarterfinals behind ground-and-pound attack & timely defense

Jaelin Brown pounded the rock in the first half. Tony Fulton finished Seabreeze in the second.  Oh, and the defense stood tall again to send Columbia back to the regional semifinals for the third straight year.
