MIAMI — A former University of Miami football player was arrested Thursday in connection with the 2006 fatal shooting of his teammate Bryan Pata.

Columbia’s coaching staff was thinner last year due to covid-19. With some assistants opting out of the season and not returning, certain position groups suffered and the defensive backs were one of them.

BRANFORD — There were glimpses last year. In the spring game, Caden Coker again showed the playmaking ability he possesses. This fall, Branford coach Tim Clark is hoping that is a constant part of the Buccaneers’ offense. It’s been evident again during fall practice.

JACKSONVILLE, — Tim Tebow's comeback and NFL career are over. The Jacksonville Jaguars waived Tebow on Tuesday, parting with the 2007 Heisman Trophy winner who switched from quarterback to tight end in hopes of rejuvenating his pro football career.
