NFL: Lawrence, Jaguars' offense struggle again in loss at Indy

INDIANAPOLIS — Trevor Lawrence finally got a chance to play for the win. Trailing 23-17 with 2:17 left on Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts, the rookie jogged onto the field, confident he could lead the Jaguars to the winning score and end nearly two years of road futility.

GAINESVILLE — Florida coach Dan Mullen celebrated his team's 70-52 victory against lower-division Samford like nothing was wrong. He sang with his team, posed for pictures, shook hands with fans and then made excuses for one of the worst defensive performances in school history.

Suwannee placed 32nd at the Class 2A State Meet on Friday at Apalachee Regional Park in Tallahassee. Jesse Cushman led the Bulldogs in the tough field of 232 runners, finishing in 139th (18:36.30) and just ahead of teammate Paul Gunter, who finished 141st (18:38.80).
