PREP FOOTBALL: Columbia drops to No. 4 seed in latest RPI, Fort White still fifth

Columbia dropped again in the latest FHSAA RPI rankings released on Wednesday. The Tigers (6-4) now have the eighth highest RPI in Region 1-6A at .579 after last week’s 35-13 loss to Raines, but they are currently the No. 4 seed in the playoff race by virtue of winning the District 3-6A title.

GIRLS GOLF: Regional results for Suwannee, Branford

Lindsay Self led Suwannee with an 86 at the Region 1-2A Tournament on Tuesday at Turkey Creek Golf Club. The Bulldogs finished with a team total of 450. Elizabeth Roberts also shot a 118, while Breanna Rodriguez had a 120 and Kate Kirby tallied a 138.

COLLEGE FOOTBALL: Richardson has concussion, uncertain to play at SC

GAINESVILLE — Florida quarterback Anthony Richardson is recovering from a concussion, potentially opening the door for Emory Jones to start at South Carolina on Saturday. Richardson was knocked out of last week's 34-7 loss to top-ranked Georgia following a hit to the head/neck area.
