WOMEN'S COLLEGE CROSS COUNTRY: FGC places 11th at NJCAA championships, 8th in half marathon

Florida Gateway College placed 11th at the NJCAA cross country championships on Saturday at Apalachee Regional Park in Tallahassee. The Timberwolves finished with a score of 381. Lansing CC won the national title with 57. Kyla Desmartin was FGC’s top runner in 43rd (20:49.

Columbia’s girls golf team sits in sixth place heading into the final day of the Class 2A state tournament at Mission Inn Resort & Club, while Suwannee’s Ryan Donaldson is ninth individually. Donaldson shot a 74, which is six strokes back of leader Alexandra Gazzoli from Matanzas.
