Columbia swimmer Ian Disosway wrapped up an impressive freshman season with a 19th-place finish in the 100 breaststroke at the Class 3A state meet on Friday at the Sailfish Splashpark Aquatic Athletics Center in Stuart. Disosway posted a time of 1:02.05.

MAYO — Lafayette High got off to another fast start Friday night. This time, the Hornets made sure there was no close finish as they routed visiting Young Kids in Motion 43-6 at Dale Walker Field to close out the regular season 8-2. “The kids played well,” Lafayette coach Marcus Edwards said.
