Former Florida offensive lineman Joshua Braun committed to Arkansas on Monday evening. He made his announcement on Twitter. "Blessed and excited to announce that I am furthering my education and football career at the University of Arkansas! Woo Pig Sooie!" Braun tweeted.

It wasn’t the ending Tyler Jefferson was hoping for. When Jefferson transferred to Columbia in the offseason for his senior year he had one goal — to win a state championship. But that goal fell two games short on Friday.

JACKSONVILLE — Jacksonville Jaguars coach Doug Pederson may need to consider changes to his defensive staff following the season. Maybe even sooner. The Jaguars (4-8) are well on their way to becoming the NFL’s worst defense, and there doesn’t seem to be an explanation for the sudden decline.

Columbia’s wrestling team placed fifth as a team at the Cam Brown Invitational at Florida High on Saturday. Jayden Thomas won his weight class at 132 pounds to lead the boys, while Carlee Morrison won the 145 class in the girls division with three pins.
