Former Florida offensive lineman Joshua Braun committed to Arkansas on Monday evening. He made his announcement on Twitter. "Blessed and excited to announce that I am furthering my education and football career at the University of Arkansas! Woo Pig Sooie!" Braun tweeted.

COMMENTARY: A tough ending for Jefferson, who comes up short of state title again

It wasn’t the ending Tyler Jefferson was hoping for. When Jefferson transferred to Columbia in the offseason for his senior year he had one goal — to win a state championship. But that goal fell two games short on Friday.

ANALYSIS: Jaguars in dire need of defensive help, maybe staff changes

JACKSONVILLE — Jacksonville Jaguars coach Doug Pederson may need to consider changes to his defensive staff following the season. Maybe even sooner. The Jaguars (4-8) are well on their way to becoming the NFL’s worst defense, and there doesn’t seem to be an explanation for the sudden decline.

COLLEGE FOOTBALL: Gators will face Beavers in Las Vegas Bowl

Florida and Oregon State are paired in the Las Vegas Bowl on Dec. 17 for a matchup between the Southeastern Conference and Pac-12. The teams will be meeting for the first time. The Gators (6-6) managed to get bowl-eligible despite losing to Vanderbilt and Florida State to end the regular season.
