PREP SWIMMING: Suwannee girls place 14th, boys finish 17th at regionals

PREP SWIMMING: Columbia's Fair qualifies for regionals in 100 butterfly, alternate for 200 IM

Casey Fair was Columbia’s lone regional qualifier, advancing to Tuesday’s Region 1-3A meet in the 100 butterfly and as an alternate in the 200 IM. The junior placed fourth in both the 100 butterfly (1:08.33) and 200 IM (2:28.72) at the District 2-3A meet on Oct. 23.

ORANGE PARK — Bynton Edge leapt sideways with two defenders chasing him and reeled in a one-handed catch before getting his feet down in the back corner of the end zone. Yeah, it was that kind of night for Columbia. Only a running clock could save Ridgeview from much further embarrassment.
