PREP CROSS COUNTRY: Suwannee boys qualify for state meet again, Hermanson and Moore nab individual bids

Suwannee’s boys cross country team is headed back to state for the third straight season. Behind a 17th-place finish from Morgan Mobley, the Bulldogs placed fifth at the Region 1-2A meet on Thursday at Alligator Lake in Lake City. Mobley finished in a time of 17:10.

PREP GOLF: Suwannee sophomore Ryan Donaldson places fifth at state

HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS — After a strong finish to Tuesday’s opening round, Suwannee sophomore Ryan Donaldson entered the final round of the Class 2A state tournament confident about her chances. Then came a second straight poor front nine at Mission Inn Resort and Club as Donaldson shot a 3-over-74.
