GIRLS BASKETBALL: Columbia blows out Santa Fe, wins by 50

Zuri Hollie scored 14 with five rebounds and five assists, while Mariah Cox scored 12 points to go with six steals to lead Columbia to a 62-12 blowout win over Santa Fe at home Monday night. Jolena Gardner and Jahlaya Wilson also both recorded double-doubles for the Tigers (8-6).

PREP FOOTBALL: Paulk transfers to Bradford, wishes Columbia 'amazing upcoming season'

Zack Paulk won’t be Columbia’s starting quarterback next season. He’ll suit up for Bradford instead. Paulk announced Friday that he’s transferring to Bradford for his senior season after spending his first three high school seasons in the CHS program.

BOYS BASKETBALL: Columbia misses FTs, blows lead in double OT loss to Santa Fe

Friday night’s game simply came down to free throws. Santa Fe made them and Columbia didn’t when it mattered most in double overtime. The Raiders knocked down 7 of their 8 free throws while the Tigers missed 5 of 8 in the second extra period Friday night, and it proved to be the difference.

PREP WRESTLING: Suwannee wins sub-regional, advances to state duals

PANAMA CITY — Suwannee is headed back to the FHSAA duals wrestling state tournament. The Bulldogs edged Florida High 42-30 in the Region 1 sub-regional tournament Thursday at North Bay Haven to secure their second straight appearance at the state meet.
