Flynn struck out seven and walk three in five innings as the Indians (9-8) jumped back over .500. Capallia scored three runs, while Garrett Depaola, Adams and Flynn scored twice to help shut out the Saints (11-4).

Fort White also held its opening dedication to its new press box/concession stand during Monday’s win over John St. Lutheran. Monday was the first night the new concession stand was open, which now allows parents to watch the game now while they work the concession.

The baseball program has been fundraising for the project for eight years and finally meet its goal and was able to take Fort White baseball to the next level.

“I would like to say a huge thank you to Vernon Masters and Sean Boyle as well as Wayne Carpets for donating the flooring,” Fort White coach Rick Julius said. “Also a thank you for Glenn Barton for doing the electrical work and also Barrs Plumbing for donating the work to do the plumbing. Also Bullard development for their donation. But most importantly to all of the players and parents in years past up to this date that made this possible through fundraising. Also thank Brett Crews for drawing up blueprints.”
