WILLISTON — A Live Oak man suffered minor injuries Tuesday when his truck hauling lumber overturned in Levy County. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the 2018 Freightliner tractor, which was pulling a flatbed trailer loaded with lumber, was headed west on U.S.

McALPIN — A Suwannee County couple faces child abuse charges after authorities say they “targeted” and “totured” their child. Justin and Sarah Fadness, both 34 from McAlpin, were arrested Thursday night on aggravated child abuse and child neglect with great bodily harm charges.

More resurfacing projects are hitting the streets in Suwannee County. According to a pair of releases from the Florida Department of Transportation, Interstate 10 and U.S. Highway 129 are both slated to begin Saturday, Feb. 18.
