Pa. man dead after I-10 crash

LIVE OAK — A Pennsylvania man was killed Sunday night when his van was rear-ended on Interstate 10 in Suwannee County. A Florida Highway Patrol report states an 80-year-old from Washington, Penn., was traveling westbound on I-10 around 7:30 p.m.

Live Oak water meters 27% replaced

LIVE OAK — New smart water meters are flowing into the City of Live Oak. The city has currently replaced approximately 27% of the residential water meters to new electronic meters that won’t have to be manually read.

Lafayette chapter celebrates FBLA week

MAYO — The Lafayette FBLA chapter participated in the 2023 National FBLA week Feb. 5-11 and is gearing up for a fun fundraiser. The week started off with Motivational Monday. On this day, FBLA members showed their creativity by making and wearing shirts with motivational quotes and sayings on them.

Miss Olustee, other pageant winners crowned

A new reign has begun. The newly crowned Miss Olustee and her court — including the newest category added to this years pageant in the Ms. Olustee category — took the stage Saturday. Taking the crown of Miss Olustee was Kaylee Hamrick.
