DeSantis’ board says Disney stripped them of power

LAKE BUENA VISTA — Board members picked by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis to oversee the governance of Walt Disney World said Wednesday that their Disney-controlled predecessors pulled a fast one on them by passing restrictive covenants that strip the new board of many of its powers.

First Federal provides grant to Love INC

LIVE OAK — Some love — and much-appreciated funding — was recently shared with Suwannee County’s Love In the Name of Christ (Love INC). The faith-based non-profit in Live Oak received a $4,500 grant from First Federal Bank, which is being used to help with the charity’s monthly expenses.
