Coast Guard cutter namesake has LC ties

BOSTON — The Coast Guard’s newest cutter, the Coast Guard Cutter Warren Deyampert (WPC-1151), has a local connection. The cutter, which was commissioned at Coast Guard Base Boston on March 30, was dedicated to Deyampert, whose nephew lives in Lake City and took part in the ceremony.
