An incident Saturday evening led to a pregnant woman being stabbed with a pocketknife and local authorities still searching for the suspect. According to a Lake City Police Department release, a pregnant woman tried to talk to her ex-boyfriend, 54-year-old Dwight M. Williams Sr.

Early voting starts Thursday in Columbia

After hundreds of voters have descended upon the Supervisor of Elections office the past few days, they can finally begin to cast their ballots. Early voting officially starts today in Columbia County, running through Oct. 31. Voters can cast ballots from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
