NFL: Jaguars claim Verity off waivers, adding 5th kicker of camp

JACKSONVILLE — The Jacksonville Jaguars have yet another new kicker, their second of the week and fifth since training camp opened a month ago. The Jaguars claimed Jake Verity off waivers from Indianapolis on Friday. He joins James McCourt in the team's competition at kicker.

FORT WHITE — Lee Dorsett is well acquainted with Taylor County. And yes, he is talking about the Bulldogs’ physicality, even last year’s season-shortening brawl. The former Suwannee center and linebacker hasn’t forgotten about the battles he went through with the Bulldogs back in his playing days.
