BASEBALL — Columbia 12, Forest 6: Carston Palmer went 3 for 3 with a double and four RBIs, Camdon Frier had three RBIs on a 3-for-4 night, and Brayden Thomas drove in three more runs to lead the Tigers (11-2) past the Wildcats (6-5) at home Thursday night for their fourth straight win.

BASEBALL — Fort White 13, Dixie County 1: Matthew Pitts went 3 for 3 with four RBIs and Gavin Crews went 2 for 3 with a triple and three RBIs to lead the Indians (3-6) to a run-rule victory over the Bears (3-5) in five innings at home Tuesday night.

Columbia and Suwannee endured the rain and windy conditions to compete at the Bob Hayes Invitational on Saturday at North Florida’s Hodges Stadium. The highlight of the day for Columbia was the performance of Seth Stockton who won the triple jump with a leap of 14.11m.
