Never in doubt and oh so sweet. Florida Gateway College is headed back to the NJCAA tournament after a dominating performance, blowing out Pitt Community College 102-77 to win back-to-back South Atlantic District B titles on Saturday.

Columbia offensive lineman Travis Matthews signed his letter of intent to play with Webber International on Friday. Matthews was part of the varsity squad the past three seasons, which included a regional final run in 2020, a district title in 2021, and a district title and regional title in 2022.

FORT WHITE — For the third time in as many years, Fort White will be looking for a new head football coach. Lee Dorsett officially submitted his resignation as the Indians’ coach Wednesday afternoon in a move that the administration said left them blindsided.
