FORT WHITE — All facets of Fort White’s game could stand improving. That’s no secret to head coach Demetric Jackson after a 20-14 overtime loss to Taylor County, one which saw three turnovers, a handful of botched snaps and costly penalties.

LIVE OAK — Suwannee isn’t alone in believing the Bulldogs are close to an offensive breakthrough. Lafayette head coach Marcus Edwards, whose Hornets will make the short trip from Mayo to Langford Stadium for a 7:30 p.m. kickoff Friday, agrees that Suwannee has the pieces to be a dangerous offense.

Columbia’s offensive line was apparently too nice during Friday’s 13-0 win over Suwannee. Head coach Brian Allen says his unit needs to be “mean” and “nasty.” It will have to be to give the Tigers a chance against reigning Georgia AAAAA state champion Coffee on Friday.
