TALLAHASSEE — Florida’s already-low unemployment rate dipped to 2.5% in September, though the numbers don’t take into account economic effects from Hurricane Ian. A state economist said Friday that October numbers likely will show an impact from the Category 4 storm, which made landfall Sept.

A Live Oak physician accused twice of sexual misconduct with patients won’t be practicing medicine any longer. The State Board of Medicine revoked Brij Bhushan Manohar Rana’s license in an order filed Wednesday with the Florida Department of Health.

LIVE OAK — Country music is on the docket for the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park this weekend. Cole Terry will take the stage tonight and Ashton Taylor on Saturday to provide opportunities for listeners to hit the dance floor at the Music Hall.
