Tribute bands performing for Rockin’ for a Reason

LIVE OAK — The Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park will be rocking this weekend, Rockin’ for a Reason. As part of a benefit concert at the park Saturday night, a pair of tribute bands — The Tribute Trifecta and Hairdaze — will perform.

Attorney sentenced for bribing state attorney

JACKSONVILLE — A former Madison County attorney will spend time in federal prison for his role in bribery scandal involving the former Third Circuit State Attorney. Ernest Maloney Page IV, who pleaded guilty in September 2020, was sentenced to six months in federal prison by U.S.

MAYO — Granny and Pappy are returning to Pioneer Day. After an absence of several years, the 42nd annual Pioneer Day, set for Oct. 8 at Veterans Memorial Park in Mayo, will have the honorable positions back as part of the festivities.
