Mad man arrested for firing gunshots

Upset that someone was looking at him, a Lake City man fired off a couple warning shots Monday morning that led to his arrest, authorities said. According to the Lake City Police Department, 20-year-old Romond Bell III was walking near NE Early Street and NE Dyson Terrace around 8:15 a.m.

LCPD: Pregnant woman stabbed

An incident Saturday evening led to a pregnant woman being stabbed with a pocketknife and local authorities still searching for the suspect. According to a Lake City Police Department release, a pregnant woman tried to talk to her ex-boyfriend, 54-year-old Dwight M. Williams Sr.

Courts soon to be in session
