ELLISVILLE — A 65-year-old Lake City man is dead after he was involved in a single vehicle car crash Monday. The incident occurred at 5:18 p.m. near the U.S. Highway 441 and Interstate 75 off ramp.

City officials are considering executing a quit claim deed for the Lake City-Columbia County Humane Society for local property so the humane society has the ability to apply for commercial lending. The topic has been scheduled as a resolution for city council members for the the 6 p.m.

The Lake City Chick-fil- A has added a new element to its business model — a food truck. Last week the Lake City Chick-fil-A introduced the food truck as it made its maiden voyage to Live Oak selling some of the restaurant’s most popular foods.
