PREP FOOTBALL: Defense leads Branford past Bell

BRANFORD — The Buccaneers are riding some great defensive play to a new winning streak.  Branford used what little possession they could get against Bell’s ground attack and contained the Bulldogs in a 28-7 win.

PREP FOOTBALL: Fort White has hands full with high-octane North Marion

FORT WHITE — Demetric Jackson sees the improvement in his team through the first two weeks. He’s hoping it’s enough to get over the next road hurdle. Fort White (1-1) travels to Citra on Friday night to play against North Marion (1-1) with a 7:30 kickoff.
