Jaylen Cooper has made it hard for Columbia head coach Demetric Jackson to keep him off the field. On both sides of the ball. He’s too “electric,” as quarterback Tyler Jefferson puts it. Cooper impressed Jackson and his staff during spring practice and that’s continued into fall camp.

PREP FOOTBALL: Additions of Jefferson, Frier raise expectations at Columbia

Tyler Jefferson called it a blessing to have a receiver like Camdon Frier. Frier said the same about his new quarterback. The Tigers are blessed to have them both. Expectations are through the roof at Columbia thanks to the two key transfers picked up this summer.
