MONTICELLO — College graduation is a milestone for anyone, but for Columbia High Class of 1977 alumna Erma Harris-Morris, earning her bachelor’s degree this May was especially significant.

BEACHVILLE — A Branford woman was killed Wednesday morning when her SUV was hit by a tractor trailer in southeastern Suwannee County. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the woman, 66, failed to stop at the stop sign on County Road 248 as she attempted to cross County Road 49 around 10:20 a.m.
