TALLAHASSEE — Florida Republicans are poised to change state law to allow GOP Gov. Ron DeSantis to run for president without having to leave office, according to legislation filed Tuesday.

Suwannee County Airport gets facelift

LIVE OAK — The Suwannee County Airport has landed a new look and upgrades. The airport terminal recently underwent renovations, getting repainted, new flooring, new furniture and a bit of a reconfiguration, according to County Administrator Greg Scott, the previous airport manager.

Live Oak Council approves Sessions’ contract

LIVE OAK — The City of Live Oak’s interim manager is now official. The Live Oak City Council unanimously approved a contract with Larry Sessions during a special meeting Friday afternoon, effective immediately.
