Wave Armor docks in Suwannee County

LIVE OAK — A manufacturing company is docking its southeastern expansion in Suwannee County. Rhino Inc., based in Minnesota, will be moving part of its Wave Armor line of products next to the county’s Catalyst Site near the Interstate 10 and U.S. Highway 90 interchange west of Live Oak.

Falling satellite has ‘low’ danger risk

An old NASA satellite is expected to fall to Earth this week, but experts tracking the spacecraft say chances are low it will pose any danger. The defunct science satellite known as Rhessi will plummet through the atmosphere Wednesday night, according to NASA and the Defense Department.

Duke adds Suwannee, High Springs solar sites

HILDRETH — A 635-acre solar site in southeastern Suwannee County is one of two new solar farms completed recently by Duke Energy Florida.

Wellborn botanical gardens adds story walk for children

WELLBORN — A new attraction at the botanical gardens could have visitors feeling a bit froggy. Hearthstone Gardens, located at 3300 134th Place in Wellborn, has unveiled a new story walk around its grounds.

LIVE OAK — The Suwannee County Commission hopes to identify its new attorney next week. The commission has called a special meeting at 4 p.m. Tuesday to discuss, and possibly take action, on scoring the responses the county received for a new county attorney.

DeSantis signs 6-week abortion limit
