COLLEGE FOOTBALL: Alabama at Florida starts 'SEC on CBS' schedule for 2021

Defending national champion Alabama’s game at Florida is scheduled to kickoff the Southeastern Conference’s game of the week slate on CBS on Sept. 15.  The network announced on Wednesday several kickoff times and dates for the upcoming college football season.

Trevor Lawrence is excited to have Tim Tebow as a teammate. The Jacksonville Jaguars signed Tebow last week, giving the former Florida star and 2007 Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback an opportunity to revive his pro career as a tight end catching passes from their rookie No. 1 overall pick.

BRANFORD — An earlier start to the night sparked Branford to a quick start on the field Monday night. An accident that prevented Hamilton County from taking part in the spring jamboree at Cleve Sikes Field at Buccaneer Stadium caused Branford to take part in the opening kick.

Coaching two programs is time consuming, so Trudy Andrews is giving up one job to focus on the other. Andrews has resigned as Columbia’s softball coach after seven seasons but will remain with the school as the volleyball coach, a job she’s held since 2016.
