Mayo man killed in van crash

BEACHVILLE — A Mayo man was killed Tuesday evening when the van he was riding in crashed with another vehicle in southeastern Suwannee County. The Florida Highway Patrol is still investigating the crash which occurred at 6:14 p.m. Tuesday at the State Road 247 and County Road 49 intersection.

LIVE OAK — For a 40th time this week, Live Oak and Suwannee County will celebrate Christmas on and around the downtown courthouse square.

Christmas season opens at Mayo’s Market

MAYO — It is officially Christmas season in Lafayette County. The Lafayette County Chamber of Commerce is hosting its annual Christmas Festival — the Mayo Christmas Market — on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in downtown Mayo around the Lafayette County Courthouse square.

Ethics board rejects deal on disclosures
