O’Brien man arrested for sexual assault

O’BRIEN — A Suwannee County man was arrested last week for a sexual assault earlier this year.According to a Suwannee County Sheriff’s Office report, the sexual assault occurred May 16 when the woman spent the previous night at Timothy Madrid’s residence in O’Brien.

License plate readers may be a thing of the past in Live Oak and Suwannee County.Following state orders Monday to stop use of the LPR cameras on state roads, the Suwannee County Sheriff’s Office followed suit and turned off all the Flock Safety cameras it was utilizing around the county.
