TALLAHASSEE — Gov.Ron DeSantis quickly signed four bills into law Thursday from a special legislative session aimed primarily at preventing workers from being required to get vaccinated against covid-19.

White House: 10% of kids vaccinated in 1st 2 weeks

WASHINGTON — The White House says about 10% of eligible kids aged 5 to 11 have received a dose of the Pfizer covid-19 vaccine since its approval for their age group two weeks ago.

LIVE OAK — The Suwannee County Airport is landing some additional space. At its Monday meeting, the Suwannee County Board of County Commissioners unanimously approved an agreement with the Florida Department of Transportation on a new hangar at the airport.
