Thrift store employee snaps over broken furniture

LIVE OAK — A thrift store find breaking Friday caused a store employee to snap, according to the Live Oak Police Department. An LOPD report states that a man purchased a piece of furniture from the Second Chance Thrift Store in Live Oak around 4:30 p.m. Friday.

FBI searched Biden home, found documents marked classified

WASHINGTON — The FBI searched President Joe Biden’s home in Wilmington, Delaware, on Friday and located six additional documents containing classified markings and also took possession of some of his notes, the president’s lawyer said Saturday.

Judge blasts DeSantis but dismisses Warren lawsuit

Florida jobless rate down to 2.5 percent

TALLAHASSEE — Florida’s unemployment rate dipped to 2.5% in December as businesses continue to struggle to fill positions. The Florida Department of Economic Opportunity released a report Friday that showed the December rate down from 2.6% in November and from 3.5% in December 2021.
