TALLAHASSEE — With a Friday deadline looming, House Speaker Paul Renner said Wednesday that he and Gov. Ron DeSantis are trying to work out differences on a bill aimed at keeping children under age 16 off social-media platforms.

Music is set to greet park-goers to kick off the spring season. The Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park announced its weekend lineup set to take the stage beginning Friday. Flatwoods South, a country band based out of Georgia, will perform for audiences March 1 at the music park.

JASPER — A Jeep parked alongside Interstate 75 in Hamilton County on Tuesday morning contained a dead man inside. The Florida Highway Patrol said in a release that its communications center in Jacksonville received a call at 8:15 a.m.
