A Live Oak man was killed last week when his truck ran into a stopped vehicle north of the city.
According to a Florida Highway Patrol release, a pickup hit an SUV that was stopped in a construction zone on U.S. Highway 129 around 9:30 p.m. Thursday.

Writers Ink of Live Oak hosting workshop

HIGH SPRINGS — The third annual Santa Fe Springs Celebration, a free event hosted by Alachua County and the Florida Springs Council, will take place this weekend.
