Cops: Man tased after foot chase

A foot chase on Monday night ended with deputies using a taser to subdue a suspect involved in a traffic stop where drugs were found, deputies say.
Jawan Rasheed Dunmore, 23, of Southwest Musket Place, was a passenger in a white Toyota truck that was seen running a stop sign a little before 7 p.m.

Cops say woman, 64, drunk with kids in car

Multiple cars on Duval Street had to hit the brakes to avoid a dark-colored SUV that was traveling in the wrong lane early Saturday morning, resulting in the arrest of a 64-year-old woman who deputies say was driving while intoxicated with several children in the vehicle.

Cut LSHA tax rate to zero, says chairman
